Ensure you change your server to the Speex codec to enable Mac users to use voice on your Ventrilo server.
To change this setting, follow these steps:
- login to the control panel at http://admin.edgz.com
- Click Voice Servers
- Click Ventrilo Server Configuration
- Edit ventrilo_srv.ini
- Change Voice Codec to Speex
- Click Save
- Restart your server
Once the server is restarted, your Mac users will have no problems using voice on your server.
